The complete PreciFill™ Pump system (including all optional items) consists of:

a)       PreciFill™ Pump. Contains all controls and moving parts in a light, convenient, easily cleaned plastic assembly.

b)       AC power source. CSA approved and detachable from the PreciFill. Plugs into the back of the PreciFill.

c)        Block Holder – Oral Dose. Holds the adaptor for oral syringes. Mounts on the PreciFill.

d)       Block Holder – IV.  Holds the adaptor for IV syringes (sold separately).

e)       Master syringe. Standard hospital supply BD-style disposable syringe with female-luer connection (sold separately).

f)        PreciFill tubing set. Disposable tubing set that connects the source container (bottle, bag, etc) to the PreciFill system (sold separately).

g)       adaptor. Standard hospital supply adaptor with a male-luer connection (sold separately).

h)       PreciFill footpedal. Pedal to start and stop the filling process. An alternative to manual and automated methods (sold separately).

i)         Anchor. Attaches to the Source end of the tubing set and weighs it down to the bottom of the source container.

j)         Target. The end receptacle of the filling process. May be anything that can be attached to the tubing set either directly or via an adaptor. Common targets are oral-dose syringes and IV bags. (sold separately)

The power supply furnished with the PreciFill™ Pump is a CSA or ULc certified unit, which can be plugged into any AC source 100v to 240v. It is rated at 1.4A input current and delivers 3.35 A at 20V DC.

The power supply should be plugged into the PreciFill before the being plugged into a power outlet. 

The Block holder mounts in the Block holder area of the PreciFill^TM Pump and holds the Delivery end of the tubing set. It has grooves for mounting to the PreciFill, a locking screw, grooves for threading the tubing set and adaptor, and a thumbscrew for locking the tubing set in place.

There are two variations of the Block holder, each for use depending on the type of  target container being filled.

1)       Oral-dose Syringes. This block holds the filling circuit so that syringes are filled in a vertical, “tip down” position. It mates with the standard disposable oral syringe adaptor.

2)       IV Syringes & Bags. This block mates with the standard disposable intravenous syringe adaptor. It can also accommodate syringes with needles by presenting the circuit so that syringes are held in a horizontal position, “pointing to the right”.

The Tubing set connects the source container to the Master syringe and the target. Only tubing sets specifically designed for use with the PreciFill^TM Pump are recommended for use. There are two models available to suit the source product and production.

Tubing sets are individually packaged, terminally sterilized and are sold in boxes of 25.

The anchor has two openings designed to fit either tubing set. It prevents the pump from aspirating air by weighing the tubing down in the Source container.
